About the van Dam Lab

The research group led by Prof. R. Michael van Dam at UCLA can be found in the Crump Institute for Molecular Imaging. There, the team works hard developing tools and technologies to advance research on human diseases, like cancer, and to help make progress faster. Specifically, their highly multidisciplinary work concentrates on in vivo imaging, such as by creating new probes for PET scans and platforms for molecular imaging of cells. The goal of this applications-driven research is to produce working prototypes and to give other labs access to these new technologies, via collaboration or commercialization.
